ULTIMATE OIL AND GAS RESOURCES OF THE SAHTU AND GWICH’IN SETTLEMENT AREAS

Drummond Consulting has completed a study on the Ultimate Oil and Gas Resources of The Sahtu and Gwich’in Settlement Areas. Three reports have been prepared; separate reports for the two settlement areas and a combined report for the Sahtu and Gwich’in Settlement Areas. The combined report includes 3 reports, the two separate reports plus a report on the overall combined area. The reports are on a non-exclusive basis for the sole use of the individual purchaser.

The reports are a quantitative assessment of the undiscovered oil and gas resources for the plays as outlined on the Hydrocarbon Play Map of Gal, L.P., 2005, NWT Open File 2005-04. The reports are very similar to that prepared for the Deh Cho Land Use Planning Committee, available at:

The Sahtu report includes @Risk probabilistic estimates of the discovered gas resources in the four Cambrian gas fields; Tweed Lake, Tedji Lake, Bele and Nogha. Also included, if desired, are the Excel files for the maps of undiscovered oil and gas.

The price of the reports in Adobe Acrobat PDF format is; Gwich’in Settlement Area - $1,500 plus GST, Sahtu Settlement Area - $2,000 plus GST, and combined (3 reports) - $3,000 plus GST.
